Natural Stone, Redefined.

Bring the authentic surface of natural stone to walls, curves, columns, and architectural features without the weight and limitations of a traditional slab. KATA and SKINROCK® stone veneers combine genuine stone with an advanced composite backing, creating lightweight, flexible sheets for residential and commercial applications.

Real Stone

A genuine layer of natural stone gives every sheet its own variation in color, texture, and movement. The composite backing reinforces the material while allowing the stone surface to remain the focus.

Lightweight

At approximately 10 ounces per square foot, the material delivers the presence of stone at a fraction of the weight of a traditional slab. This makes it easier to transport, handle, and install across a wider range of surfaces.

Flexible

Its flexible construction allows natural stone to follow curves, columns, and architectural forms that would be difficult or uneconomical to achieve with conventional slabs.

Large-Format Coverage

Available in sheets up to 4 by 8 feet, the veneer can cover expansive areas with fewer seams. Each sheet can also be cut down for smaller features, detailed forms, and custom applications.

How A Stone Veneer is Made

Every stone veneer begins with genuine natural stone. An advanced composite reinforcement system is applied to the slab before a thin layer of its surface is carefully separated by hand. The result preserves the color, movement, texture, and natural variation of stone while significantly reducing its thickness and weight.

At approximately 10 ounces per square foot, the veneer offers an alternative to traditional ¾-inch stone, which can weigh approximately 12 pounds per square foot. It can be installed across large surfaces and detailed architectural forms without requiring the structural support associated with a full stone slab.

One Material. More Design Possibilities.

Natural stone veneer gives designers, architects, builders, and homeowners greater freedom to introduce stone into spaces where conventional slabs may be too heavy, thick, or difficult to form.
